2018 proved to be an incredible year for anime. But it's 2019 now new year new bingeing, it's time to look ahead to new anime in 2019. There are tons of new series and long-awaited sequels and we are all excited to see what they have in store for us.

10. Revisions

In Revisions, five students are transferred 300 years into the future through a phenomenon dubbed the “Shibuya Drift.” This future seems to be a wasteland filled with mechanical “Revisions”, huge robotic monsters that seem to be out to destroy them. The five are saved by a girl using a mobile suit “String Puppet”.

With separated paths, adversaries, destined prophecies, the boys, and girls are on their journey to return to their original time. The story looks promising but as we know Netflix original anime is pretty hit or miss, this particular one looks like it could be a great new series.

9. Domestic Girlfriend

Natsuo Fujii is in love with his teacher, Hina. Attempting to forget his feelings towards her, Natsuo goes to a mixer with his classmates where he meets an odd girl named Rui Tachibana. Through a series of complicated events, he winds up living with both of them.

Story-wise, Domestic Girlfriend leans more on drama and dilemma side rather than comedy-love-story type. It has really good emotional moments. We think this will be a good romance story for those who prefer serious and realistic plot.

8. Boogiepop and Others

In Phantom, various High School students witness a pillar of light, which forces an evolution on them, culminating in dark happenings as many go crazy or suffer in other ways.

Boogiepop Phantom hasn't been discussed much since its debut in 2000, but now that it's getting a reboot that closely follows its source light novels, it might start getting the attention it deserves. If you’re in the mood for something creepy, Boogiepop should deliver.

7. Kaguya-sama: Love is War

In this classic tale, a samurai barters away 48 of his infant child's organs and other body parts to various demons in exchange for incredible battle prowess. The boy survives with the help of prosthetics and dedicates his life to hunting down demons and getting his body back.

Osamu Tezuka is often called the father of anime, which makes the fact that his 1960's manga Dororo is being adapted into an anime a cause for celebration. All of Tezuka’s stories always have some deep meanings and messages behind. And in the case of Dororo, this series is said to lean more towards a darker story.

5. Kemono Friends Season 2

Japari Park is the place to go to meet new people, thanks to the magic that’s turned the animals into anthropomorphized girls. In season one of Kemono Friends, Kaban, a human girl, finds herself in the park with a case of amnesia, and the animal friends are determined to help figure it out.

While the CG style might be off-putting to most viewers, the wholesome stories about these cute animal girls will definitely brighten your day. Season 2 seems to be sticking close to the visual formula that made season 1 so endearing.

4. Kakegurui xx 2nd chapter

3. The Rising of the Shield Hero

2. Mob Psycho 100 Season 2

Season 2 will once again pit Mob against Claw, the enigmatic psychic organization bent on world domination. Based on what we saw in the Season 2 trailer, it appears Mob still has more to learn when it comes to controlling his amazing psychic powers.
