Movie Review of Interstellar

Interstellar is a 2014 science fiction film directed by Christopher Nolan. Starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, and Michael Caine, the film features a team of space travelers who travel through awormhole in search of a new habitable planet. It was written by Jonathan Nolan and Christopher Nolan; Christopher combined his idea with a script developed by his brother in 2007 for Paramount Pictures and producer Lynda Obst.
He produced the film with Obst and his wife, Emma Thomas. Theoretical physicist Kip Thorne, whose work inspired the film, acted as both scientific consultant and executive producer. When an artist creates his masterpiece he transcends the space time by his artistically abundance and brilliant concept and I think it’s the masterpiece that Nolan waited for so long and would be hailed as a triumphant space saga for generation to come and like the space ship endurance it would serve as an influential guide to a wormhole of modernistic space opera in the space time fabric of cinematic celluloid. I was still in a trance in other words spell bound for couple of hours after the climax of interstellar.

Nolan took off where Stanley Kubrick left off, the right ingredients whose deficiency made 2001- a space odyssey a cold plain philosophy with masterful techno accuracy fulfilled by Nolan brothers. The result is an epic scientific saga with kubrican technical accuracy and spielbergian humanitarian soul blended together efficiently to deliver a masterpiece, one of its kind for Hollywood and it’s later generation , thus transcending space time boundary all together. As a science enthusiast and advocator of hyperspace when I saw the giant rotating black hole and the hypercube I felt at last I met with my love and inspiration for which I longed and eluded for my whole life and this moment alone will be treasured forever in my heart for I want to cherish it.
After watching cooper’s journey through wormhole feeling his emotional voyage it made me realise that how timid we are compare to the vastness of our universe and how little we know about the grandeur and mystery of this vast out starched sea called universe. Another notable thing is like Spielberg Nolan depicted and represented the humanitarian side of AI, the loyalty and sense of duty which a robot should likely to be in all aspect, and which was completely null in the infamous HAL-90, thus rendering the fear of terminators useless. The directional venture of this movie was brilliant; a man with real insight for relativistic science only can design such type of movie. It was full of allegorical references pointing towards the philosophy of Fredrick Nietzsche and Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky.
The whole plot revolved around the idea of Murphy's law, which gave a perceived notion of “whatever can happen will happen” a simple line which if analysed properly give an insight how gravitational field theory can be integrated with quantum field theory enabling human mind to solve the enigma called singularity. I am not in the position to talk about direction, editing and various technical point of the movie, because when a master creates his masterpiece however unconventional his brush stroke may seem you can’t scrutinise it unless you are a maestro yourself.
However while scrutinising the daring visual effects and accurate sound editing which manifested abysmal wonders of our universe let it be the Saturn’s ring or the event horizon of a giant rotating black hole or the inter dimensional cross road inside a singularity in form of a hyper cube I was mesmerphied (mesmerized and petrified at the same time) and transfixed by these mysterious wonder of our mother nature. Surreal background score creats perfect core for the narrative and its smooth propagation. The acting cast was brilliant and sincere in their job, but Matthew McConaughey and Jessica Chastain stood apart in their portrayals of father –daughter bonding which was altogether inspiring and honest. The frame when copper saw the 23 yrs. Video footage of his family the emotional upheaval taking place at the core of his heart was manifested brilliantly by Mathew McConaughey, he showed promising signs of greatness which only handful of actors capable of in his generation.
Apart from all the awe inspiring visual exhibition interstellar remain wrapped up with some ambiguity in its narrative, which can coast it the academy award. No doubt wherever there is science ambiguous issue followed, when science solved one question thousands arises in its place. There are some irregularities regarding the wormhole voyage, the singularity concept and the continued enigma regarding the designer of wormhole near Saturn and the hyper cube.
Nevertheless the most important concept of human instinct for survival and the power of love which can transcend dimensional space and time flow are the focal point of this humanitarian space saga. This is one of the most beautiful films I have ever seen in terms of its visuals, and its overriding message about the powerful forces of the one thing we all know but can't measure in scientific terms. Love.
Cooper’s statement regarding quantifiable human emotion and how it could act as a bridge between gravitational field and quantized field was noteworthy; it created the conceptual force field for this movie.in fact love is that emotion here, which inspired adult murphy to solve the gravity equation. Bravo bravo Nolan for raising epic love from tragedies of human life, you truly deserved a heads up for transforming Shakespeare’s tragedy in Nietzsche’s philosophy.A corruption free prevailing love transcends space time consciousness barrier and could act as a powerful force whose influence could be experienced not in this realm but in all probable realms of the space time fabric. It’s a masterpiece which will serve as a beacon in Hollywood for this generation and their descendants for decade to come.
The visual effects, the production design, the film's themes and ambitions, while criticizing the film's pacing, three-hour runtime, lack of humor and third-act, as well as the general story overall. The Los Angeles Times reported, "Film critics largely agree that 'Interstellar' is an entertaining, emotional and thought-provoking sci-fi saga, even if it can also be clunky and sentimental at times."

"Interstellar was "agonisingly" close to a masterpiece, highlighting the conceptual boldness and the "deep-digging intelligence" of the film. I think Bollywood will never comprehend its importance and intellectual depth for coming three decades, there will be not another interstellar occupying the space of celluloid in coming years.in single line interstellar can described as Brainy, barmy and beautiful to behold ... a mind-bending opera of space and time with a soul wrapped up in all the science. Thanks to PVR for giving me a tantalising experience of watching this movie. If u are a lover of general theory of relativity and Einstein You are gonna love it and cherish it forever.

I am  going with 9.1/10 for this epic sci-fi grandeur with cinematic extravaganza at its pick.
